The AJ12 has been getting a lot of love in 2026. The “Fireside” colorway dropped earlier this year with cream and brown tones, and the Eggnog follows a similar palette but with its own identity. The sail upper uses a mix of leather and nubuck, with brown accents on the midsole, tongue, and heel tab.
The Air Jordan 12 is one of the most underappreciated Jordan retros. It does not get the hype of the 1, 3, 4, or 11, but the design is excellent. The quilted upper, the metal eyelets, the carbon fiber shank. It is a premium shoe that feels premium.
The Eggnog colorway is positioned as a Holiday release, which makes sense. The sail and brown tones are perfect for the colder months. It is not a flashy colorway. It is a mature, understated shoe that works with anything you wear in winter.
