Nike is doing something genuinely different with the Dunk Low this time. The “Pink Foam” colorway dropping September 20, 2026, takes the classic silhouette in a direction I honestly wasn’t expecting. This is not just another color swap. They actually changed the materials, the laces, the whole vibe.
First off, this is a women’s exclusive. Style code IX5101-101, priced at $130. The color is listed as White and Pink Foam. Simple enough on paper. But the execution is where things get interesting.

The overlays are done in Pink Foam leather. That covers the mudguard, the eyestays, and the heel. Underneath those overlays, the toe box and side panels use a white textile with a jacquard floral pattern woven right into the fabric. This is not a print sitting on top. The pattern is structural, part of the weave itself. That gives it a depth you don’t get from your standard Dunk Low build. The same patterned fabric wraps around the back of the heel too, so the floral detail shows up from every angle.
Then there are the laces. This is the detail that everyone is talking about. Nike ditched the regular flat laces and went with wide pink ruffled laces that bunch up across the white tongue. They take up real visual space. When you first look at the shoe, the ruffled laces are probably the first thing you notice. It is a bold choice and it works because the rest of the shoe stays fairly restrained.

The Swooshes match the Pink Foam shade and it continues down to the rubber outsole. A white midsole breaks up the pink and keeps the bottom looking clean. Nike branding is embroidered on the heel, nothing flashy. The overall package reminds me of a floral sundress. That is the best way I can describe it. Soft, decorative, but still put together.
I think Nike has been pushing the Dunk in a lot of experimental directions lately. Some hit, some miss. This one feels like a genuine attempt to give the silhouette a feminine identity that goes beyond just making it pink. The jacquard fabric and ruffled laces are details you would expect on a premium fashion piece, not a basketball shoe turned lifestyle staple. That contrast is what makes it interesting.

Now, there is some confusion around the style codes. You will see IX5101-101 thrown around, but also DV3054-600 floating on some sites. From what I can tell, IX5101-101 is the primary style code for this release. Nike sometimes has multiple codes in their system for different regional runs or size allocations, but the shoe is the same. Do not let that throw you off when you are trying to track it down.
The upper mixes suede and synthetic leather, which gives the shoe a nice textural range. You have the smooth Pink Foam leather on the overlays, the woven jacquard on the underlays, the suede on the Swoosh, and those ruffled fabric laces on top. Four different textures working together without feeling busy. That is not easy to pull off.

At $130, the price feels right for what you are getting. This is not a basic leather Dunk with a new color. The jacquard fabric alone costs more to produce than standard leather panels. The ruffled laces are a custom component. Nike could have charged more and people would have paid it.
My one concern is how the ruffled laces will look after a few weeks of wear. They are wide, they bunch, and fabric like that can start to look tired if it gets dirty or starts fraying. I would treat these more carefully than your average Dunks. Maybe swap in a regular set of pink laces for daily wear and keep the ruffled pair for when you want the full look.

September 20th is the drop date. Women’s sizing only. If you wear men’s sizes and want these, you will need to convert. The Dunk Low runs true to size in women’s, so go up a size and a half from your men’s size for the right fit.
This is one of those releases that I think will surprise people when they see it in person. Photos do not fully capture the jacquard texture or how much the ruffled laces change the look. It is a Dunk that does not look like a Dunk, and right now, that is a good thing.
