Jordan Brand is leaning hard into the cozy aesthetic this fall. The Air Jordan 12 “Fireside” is dropping October 17, 2026, and honestly, I think this might be one of the sleeper hits of the holiday season. The SKU is CT8013-105, and it retails for $215 in adult sizes.
It was originally rumored under the “Eggnog” nickname, which honestly had me a little worried. Eggnog colors on a basketball shoe could go sideways fast. But Jordan Brand smartly renamed it “Fireside,” and the final product is way better than those early mockups suggested.
The build starts with a light cream leather upper. Think warm, think fireplace, think that feeling when the temperature drops and you actually want to wear something that looks like it belongs in the season. A brown suede mudguard wraps around the lower half, and matching brown runs through the outsole. Metallic bronze eyelets sit near the collar, adding just enough shine without getting flashy.
What I like most is how the details break up what could have been a boring muted shoe. The heel has a brown “23” with a subtle reddish outline. The tongue carries matching Jumpman branding. The translucent brown outsole underneath ties the whole thing together. It is warm without being dull.
The colorway does bring back memories of the 2024 SoleFly x Air Jordan 12 collab. Similar cream and brown mix. But the lighter upper on the Fireside and the different placement of the darker shades makes it its own thing. The Fireside feels more intentional, like someone actually thought about how the colors flow from top to bottom rather than just slapping two tones together.
The official color is listed as Light Orewood Brown, Cacao Wow, and Team Red. That “Cacao Wow” name still cracks me up. Nike’s color naming team has been on a streak of ridiculous names lately, but somehow it works here. The brown really does have a cacao richness to it.
Full family sizing is happening, which means GS and toddler sizes will be available too. That tells me Jordan Brand sees this as a volume release, not a limited quickstrike. Good news for anyone who actually wants to wear them.
The Air Jordan 12 has always been one of those silhouettes that looks better in person than in photos. The paneling, the stitching, the way the leather folds around the mudguard. It is a shoe you need to see on foot to really appreciate. I expect the Fireside will be the same way.
October 17 is the date. Nike SNKRS and Jordan Brand retailers will have them. At $215, it is not cheap, but that is standard for AJ12 retros these days. The question is whether the cozy colorway earns a spot in your rotation when there are so many other options dropping around the same time.
For me, the answer is probably yes. I am a sucker for suede on the Jordan 12, and the cream and brown combination hits differently than the usual black and red fare we get every holiday season. It is not trying to be loud. It is not trying to be the shoe everyone talks about. It is just a clean, well-executed fall colorway on one of the best Jordan silhouettes ever made.
Sometimes that is enough.
