Nike has two Foamposite drops this fall and they are easy to confuse. T
The Foamposite Pro version uses a pale, almost iridescent shell that catches light during the day and glows at night. The Pro has a different look from the One. The oversized Swoosh changes the whole vibe of the shoe, making it more Nike-branded and less of a pure Foamposite design statement.
Both Foamposite models have been around since the late 90s. The One was Penny Hardaway’s signature. The Pro was the team model. Over the years, the Pro has actually had some of the best colorways in the Foamposite line. The “Glow in the Dark” Pro continues that tradition.
Foamposite is not for everyone. The shoes are heavy, stiff out of the box, and expensive. But the people who love them really love them. The Foamposite community is one of the most dedicated in sneaker culture. Every release is an event.
The glow in the dark element adds a fun factor that most Foamposite colorways do not have. These are already attention-getting shoes. Add glow and they become impossible to ignore.
