The Jordan Dimension line has quietly become one of the more interesting experiments in the catalog, and this Green Noise colorway of the DMSN 95 is a good example of why. The shoe takes the layered panel architecture of the Air Max 95, wraps it in Jordan DNA, and comes out looking like something that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.
The pitch from Jordan Brand is that the DMSN 95 remixes a classic silhouette for the next generation, with design inspiration pulled from the Air Jordan 11. You can see it in the proportions and the way the upper flows, but the rippling layering is pure AM95. The Green Noise colorway puts emerald green leather and suede layers over black, with a platinum tint on the midsole dressing that keeps the green from going full neon.
It is built for all day wear, versatility and comfort for the sneakerhead on the go, which is marketing talk but also happens to be accurate. The cushioning setup is comfortable enough for long days, and the mostly green upper is somehow easier to style than it looks. Black pants, jeans, even grey sweats, the green reads as an accent rather than a statement.
It released November 5 for $145. I like this shoe more than I expected to, honestly. It occupies a lane nobody else is in right now, a hybrid winter casual shoe with Jordan pedigree and 95 heritage, and the Green Noise colorway is the best of the bunch so far.
