The City Pack is back. Or at least one very important piece of it is. The Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento”, one of the original 1995 City Pack colorways, is finally getting its first ever retro on December 5, 2026. Kings fans have been waiting three decades for this, and the 2026 press imagery confirms it is coming back with the details that mattered.

The colorway is Black, Metallic Silver and Dark Concord. If you know Kings basketball, you know purple is the whole point. Black tumbled leather builds the upper, smooth leather handles the mudguard, and Dark Concord purple hits the liner and the striped rubber outsole. The Jumpman sits embroidered on the heel in white, and the outsole keeps the career achievement stripes from the original.

Back in 1995 Jordan Brand rolled out the City Pack with pairs for Chicago, Seattle, New York, Orlando and Sacramento. Mitch Richmond was the Kings star at the time, and while he wore the Shadow 10 and a player exclusive on court, the Sacramento pair became one of the sleepers of the entire City Pack. It never retroed. Not once. Until now.

The 2026 retro lands under style code HJ6779-002 at $215 retail. Recent Air Jordan 10 releases have come with updated shapes that sit much closer to the 1995 mold, and early word says this pair keeps the accolade listing on the outsole just like the OG. That matters to people like me who care about the details.

This will not be a general release. Past 10 retros have been limited to boutiques, select online retailers and SNKRS, and this one should follow that path. That is good news for people who actually want the shoe and bad news for everyone who sleeps. December 5 is the date. Set your alarms.
Between this, the Steel 10 that returned earlier in the season, and the rest of the Holiday lineup, the Air Jordan 10 is quietly having a moment. The Sacramento pair is the one with the story though. A first retro of a 30 year old City Pack colorway for a fanbase that never got a second chance at it. That is what retro is supposed to mean.
