The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Phantom Barely Volt’ arrives November 13 for $240, and it carries a gimmick I fully endorse, a Safari-style print across the Foamposite shell that glows green in the dark. Foams have always been night-out shoes. This one is literally built for the dark.

The base look is a light grey Phantom upper with the tonal print baked into the Foamposite material, Barely Volt accents hitting the eyelets and outsole trim, and black details grounding everything. In regular light it reads as a clean, muted Foam. Kill the lights and the print lights up. It is the same energy as the ‘Weatherman’ Foamposite trick, and it never gets old.

Comfort notes for anyone new to Foamosites. The One is the Penny Hardaway silhouette with the full-length carbon fiber shank and the Zoom Air in the forefoot, but it is still a heavy, stiff shoe that needs break-in. Sizing runs tight through the forefoot because the shell does not give. Go up a half size if you have wide feet. The $240 tag is normal Foam territory now, sadly.

Marketwise, the GOAT listing is live already with a long slug name that proves even their database had fun with this shoe. Foamposite releases of the last few years have mostly sat at or near retail, with a few exceptions like the eggplant restocks. The glow print gives this one a collector hook beyond the colorway, which tends to help long-term value.

Release is November 13 through SNKRS and select accounts, with SNIPES already showing early stock. Full family sizing is likely given the holiday timing.

If you have ever wanted a Foamposite that performs a trick, this is the one. Phantom grey in daylight, radioactive safari at night. I cannot think of a better $240 gimmick.
