The Jordan Tatum 5 ‘Sunset’ is the second colorway of Jayson Tatum’s fifth signature, and it arrives November 21 for $135 with the evening counterpart to the ‘Sunrise’ launch pair. Where Sunrise was the purple-pink of a 6 AM Boston sky, Sunset brings the black and burning orange of a night falling over the city. The duo concept is genuinely one of the better signature stories Jordan has done in years.

Colorway details, black takes the lead on the upper with University Red and Amarillo orange accents hitting the accents and midsole sections, plus Clementine touches on the branding. SBD’s early photos show the orange details glowing against the black base in a way that will pop hard on court. The colorway officially runs Black and Infrared 23 through the style code listing.

The model underneath is the story though. The Tatum 5 stripped back to essentials with the midfoot strap, the 10 millimeter forefoot Zoom Air unit, and molded overlays for stability, all wrapped in Tatum’s redesigned Gateway Arch-inspired ‘0’ on the heel. Reviews from the Sunrise launch have been strong, particularly on the lockdown from that strap. Tatum wore the 5 deep into his season, which is the best endorsement there is.

The Sunrise is already trading around retail on StockX, and the Sunset should follow the same pattern. Jordan is volume-shipping this model, which means resale stays sane and players can actually buy them. The full family sizing rollout confirmed for the Sunset means GS and PS versions will land alongside.

Release lands November 21 through SNKRS and Jordan retailers, following the Sunrise’s October 15 launch. Note the GOAT and StockX listings for the Sunset are not live yet, so early retail is the play here rather than resale.

At $135 with a real design story and a legitimate performance build, the Sunset rounds out the best value signature line in basketball. Sunrise for the optimists, Sunset for the night games. I know which one my rotation has room for.
