The Stranger Things x Puma collection is not just the MB.06. LaMelo Ball signature-adjacent pairs are getting the Upside Down treatment too, and the LaFrance might actually be the loudest shoe of the whole pack. The MB.06 Stranger Things leads the collection with its plum-and-purple look, but this one goes completely the other direction.

The LaFrance comes covered head to toe in a blazing orange-red, with blue vines snaking across the entire upper and wrapping down into the oversized sole. Those branching graphic lines are the vine pattern from the Upside Down, the same creeping growth that swallowed Hawkins in the show, rendered here in a cartoon-sharp blue that pops hard against the hot orange base. Thick royal blue laces finish the look, wide flat ones layered across the throat like an homage to Melo oversized lacing style. The tongues carry Stranger Things and LaFrance branding, and the outsole hides a mint glow-in-the-dark-ish slime treatment you only see when someone lifts their foot mid-stride.

For the uninitiated, the LaFrance is Melo lifestyle model, a chunky court-inspired silhouette that debuted back in 2020 alongside his first signature season. It is named after his hometown of Chino Hills, it runs big and boxy, and it has developed its own cult following in the lifestyle lane precisely because it does not look like every other retro court shoe.

Release details are locked. Style code 314660-01, 120 dollars, dropping November 6 through Puma.com and select retailers including Champs. That is the same date as the MB.06 and the LaFrance RNR, so the whole collection lands at once. The orange and blue combo here is the most wearable of the pack ironically, since the orange base is close enough to a classic varsity look that it pairs with a lot more than purple would.
