Nike Air Max 90 Halloween 2026: Spooky Season Without the Costume

Halloween sneakers usually go one of two directions. Either they are subtle enough that you can wear them year-round, or they are so themed that they become a costume accessory you break out once a year. The Nike Air Max 90 “Halloween” for 2026 lands firmly in the first camp, and I think that is exactly where it should be.

The colorway is White, Black, Dark Smoke Grey, and Safety Orange. That is the whole story, and honestly it does not need more than that. White mesh covers the toe box, tongue, and upper panels. Black and dark grey leather handle the mudguard and midfoot. Then Safety Orange shows up exactly where it should, on the Swoosh, lower eyelets, heel tab, Air Max window, and the section around the visible Air unit.

What I like about this one is that the blocking has a reverse-Infrared feel to it. The brighter color is pushed into the accent areas instead of covering larger sections of the shoe. If you know your Air Max 90 history, you know the Infrared colorway is sacred ground. This is not trying to be Infrared, but the way the orange is distributed gives it that same energy. It is loud without being obnoxious.

Black Nike Air branding sits over the orange heel tab. The outsole mixes black and orange rubber to finish things off. White laces and a matching midsole keep the darker upper from looking too heavy. There are no graphics, no spider webs, no glow-in-the-dark details, no extra theme packed into it. It just feels like a fall colorway that happens to fit October perfectly.

Nike is pushing Halloween hard this season. The Ja 4 “Halloween” and Book 2 “Halloween” are both lined up alongside this AM90. What I appreciate about the Air Max 90 is that it does not lean as hard into the theme as the signature shoes probably will. You can wear this pair in November and nobody will look at you sideways.

The style code is JA1015-100, and retail sits at $135. That is right in the normal Air Max 90 range. No holiday markup, no special packaging surcharge. The release is expected during Fall 2026, which means it should be arriving right as the weather starts to turn.

If you want a Halloween shoe that you can actually keep in the rotation after October 31st, this is the one. The Safety Orange accents against the white and black base give it enough seasonal flavor without making it a one-trick pony. I would cop these and not even think twice about whether they are a “Halloween” shoe or just a really solid fall Air Max 90.
