JENNIE from BLACKPINK just made her adidas Originals collab official, and it’s way more than a celebrity colorway. The “Functional Grace” collection marks her transition from brand ambassador to true co-designer, and the centerpiece is the Superstar SQ Ballet — a dramatic reimagining of the classic shell-toe that merges it with a ballet pointe shoe.
The Superstar SQ Ballet is built with a premium leather upper, soft lambskin lining, a squared-off toe box, and customizable ribbon detailing. It bridges street culture with dance performance art in a way that shouldn’t work but absolutely does. The balletcore aesthetic is real and refined — not a gimmick.
The full FW26 collection goes well beyond footwear. JENNIE designed track tops and matching pants with wraparound constructions, knit wrap cardigans, sheer sleeveless bodysuits, sheer leggings, wrap skirts, and polar fleece half-zip hoodies. Accessories include high-knit leg warmers and cut-out socks that reinforce her personal aesthetic throughout.

The campaign was shot against a cosmic, dreamlike backdrop under the theme “Cosmic Ballerina: Kinematics,” highlighting quiet confidence, fluidity, and movement. The concept of “Functional Grace” takes foundational elements of classical ballet and subverts them into a surreal, futuristic vision of modern femininity.

The collection dropped September 1, 2026, available through select adidas flagship stores, the adidas CONFIRMED app, and adidas.com/JENNIE. The Superstar SQ Ballet retails for $130.
